Yes, absolutely. A large part of our work is with clients who have an existing webMethods integration environment. We can audit your current webMethods flows, identify bottlenecks or issues, and then improve or extend them. If your team is short-staffed, we can also take on the management of your webMethods platform (monitoring integrations, applying updates, etc.). Basically, whether you’re new to webMethods or have had it for years, we can engage at whatever point you need – new development, troubleshooting, or administration.
It depends on your requirements. WebMethods is powerful, but it’s also an enterprise-grade product – which can be more than what’s needed for smaller-scale integrations. If you have many systems to integrate, high data volumes, complex processes, or the need for robust reliability and support, webMethods is often a great choice. If your needs are simpler, sometimes a lighter-weight solution or direct point-to-point integrations could suffice. During initial consultations, we help determine the right approach. If you haven’t invested in webMethods yet, we’ll give an honest opinion on whether its capabilities match your needs (and we can compare it to alternatives like MuleSoft, Boomi, or open-source tools). Our goal is to ensure you get the most efficient and cost-effective integration solution – which might be webMethods or might be something else, depending on your case.
Yes. WebMethods has connectors and tools specifically for integrating with many cloud applications. For example, there are out-of-the-box connectors for Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc., and we can also use REST APIs or SOAP to connect to virtually any cloud service. WebMethods’ API Gateway can manage API calls to and from cloud systems securely. In our projects, we’ve integrated webMethods with AWS services (using SDKs or APIs), Microsoft Azure apps, Google Cloud, and various SaaS platforms. The key is configuring secure connectivity (which we handle via VPNs or secure channels as needed) and then mapping the data between the cloud app’s format and your internal system’s format – webMethods is very good at that mapping/transformation part. So yes, cloud-to-ground or cloud-to-cloud – webMethods can sit in the middle and coordinate it all.
We work with a range of versions – many clients are on recent versions (webMethods.io or the latest Software AG suite version), but we also have experience with older on-premises versions (9.x, 10.x series). If you’re on an older version, we can help with upgrades or at least ensure our solutions are compatible. We also handle hybrid setups (for instance, using both on-prem webMethods Integration Server and webMethods.io iPaaS). Our team stays up to date with Software AG’s updates and best practices, so we can support whatever version you’re running. If you’re on the cloud version (webMethods.io), we’ll use that environment’s capabilities to build your integrations. If on-prem, we can develop and deploy packages on your Integration Servers. In all cases, we adhere to Software AG’s guidelines to keep your installation stable and supportable.
IGT Systems is an independent service provider – we’re not owned by or exclusively tied to Software AG, but we often work closely with them. We have certified webMethods developers on our team. If needed, we can liaise with Software AG for support tickets or licensing questions on behalf of our clients. Being tool-agnostic means we’ll recommend webMethods when it’s the best fit, but we’re not resellers pushing it at any cost. That said, we are very familiar with Software AG’s ecosystem and have access to resources and training. So you get the benefits of working with a knowledgeable partner. If your project requires official Software AG support or escalation, we’ll help facilitate that as well. Essentially, you get a partner who knows the platform inside-out and can navigate both the tech and vendor relationships smoothly.
